The work

You will hold the machinery of a transaction together: the conditions precedent checklist, the signature pages, the corporate filings and the data room. On a deal that is closing, this is the work that decides whether it closes on time, and it is treated that way here.

You will sit with the associates and partners running the file rather than in a separate function, and you will be told what the deal is actually about, because someone who understands why a condition exists chases it better than someone working from a list.

What we are looking for

  • Experience of corporate transactions in a law firm or an in-house legal team.
  • Familiarity with UAE mainland and free-zone corporate filings, or the appetite to learn them quickly.
  • The kind of organisation that does not need a reminder, and the confidence to raise a problem early.
  • Arabic and English are both used daily; strong written English is essential.
