Space and Aviation.
Regulatory, financing, and transactional advice for aviation and emerging space operators.
The UAE has positioned itself as a commercial-space jurisdiction of consequence — and our practice has followed.
Few jurisdictions in the region have committed to space the way the UAE has — Mars Mission, Hope Probe, Rashid Lunar Rover, the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, and the UAE Space Agency1, alongside the recent satellite-spectrum and operator-licensing frameworks. Aviation, while older and more developed, sits alongside it: established airlines, leasing platforms2, MRO operators, and the GCAA regulatory regime.
Our position in the sector is intentional. We are better placed than most regional firms to advise on space-side mandates — licensing, spectrum, satellite ownership, cross-border operator arrangements, and the bespoke contractual architecture3 that early-stage space ventures require. On the aviation side, our regulatory4 and dispute5 work applies the same combination of fluency and discipline that our pillars bring to capital-intensive sectors.
“Space is where the next decade of UAE commercial law gets written. Aviation is where it has been written. We advise across both.”
